The UAE student population has expanded by up to seven percent in the last five years, a robust growth rate that is expected to further surge as the country moves forward with its education strategies. Private education in particular is rapidly gaining ground as the UAE now has the fastest growing private education market in the world with a value of USD 1.9 billion, creating lucrative investment opportunities for leading academic institutions in the region and around the world.

GETEX Spring 2013, the most effective and result-driven forum for student recruitment in the Middle East and Asia, provides opportunities for education providers to take advantage of the enormous growth potential that the UAE’s private education market has to offer. The event expects to attract a record participation of students and key industry figures from all over the country and across the Middle East. With a host of value-added sponsorship opportunities, GETEX Spring serves as a gateway for education providers to penetrate the UAE private education market and achieve maximum brand exposure. GETEX Spring 2013 will run from April 17 to 19 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
“I have been attending GETEX for 14 years and have found this event to be a great opportunity to market our university to the entire Middle East. It also provides access to education agents from the region who come to attend this well advertised event. It is a very well organized event that beats any other fair that I know of in the Gulf region. My university has recruited 1,150 students from around the globe in the last six years, and GETEX has certainly played a role in our success in the Middle East,” comments Mahmoud Lamadanie, Executive Associate Vice President, Center for International Affairs & Programs (CIAP), Grambling State University, USA, who has been a regular participant at GETEX.
GETEX Spring 2013, which marks the 25th edition of the show, will gather thousands of education industry stakeholders to provide a dedicated networking platform that supports the long-term growth and development of the region’s education sector. Apart from its General Education segment, this silver jubilee edition of GETEX will feature Higher Education and Professional Training segments, and will also focus on Sports Education, Education Tourism and Education Resources & Supplies.

The UAE in particular has one of the highest application participation rates in the world, highlighting a growing interest in regional and overseas universities. In 2011 alone, 1,025 out of 3,090 students who travelled to the UK for higher education were Emiratis.

GETEX Spring 2013, the most powerful and result-driven forum for student recruitment in the Middle East and Asia, once again expects to attract a record participation from students interested in higher education providers in the Middle East and around the world. This year, GETEX will feature over 2,000 different course options from more than 35 countries, offering students a truly comprehensive range of top-quality programs to choose from.
For the past 25 years, educators have been establishing first-rate contacts with prospective students at GETEX, generating unprecedented conversion rates in the process. Leading regional and international universities take part in the show, which has become the most effective marketing and networking platform for educationists and a favourite for students looking for the best academic programs to match their needs.
